About Doug Schneider

Doug Schneider is a Canadian-based photographer living in Ottawa, Ontario. He specializes in Canadian amateur bodybuilding and fitness competition coverage and is an official photographer for the Canadian BodyBuilding Federation (CBBF). He is the webmaster for the CBBF's official website, www.cbbf.net, and he owns the  www.BodyBuildingLive.com website that features more Canadian contest coverage and competitor profiles. Although he shoots a variety photographic styles, his preference is black-and-white photography using high-speed film (usually Ilford Delta 3200). The result is usually a raw, intense-looking photo that effectively captures the essence and spirit of bodybuilding competition.
